Community Guidelines

Last updated: March 2026

The Borderless community is a space for immigrants to share experiences, ask questions, and support one another. To keep it welcoming and useful, we ask everyone to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent ban.

Be Respectful

Treat every community member with respect regardless of their nationality, visa status, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or age. Harassment, hate speech, bullying, and personal attacks are never acceptable. Disagreements are fine — but keep them civil.

Share Accurate Information

Immigration is a sensitive area. Only share information you are confident is accurate. Clearly distinguish between personal experience and general advice. Do not present yourself as a qualified immigration adviser unless you are. If you're unsure, say so.

No Spam or Self-Promotion

Do not post unsolicited advertisements, affiliate links, or repeated promotional messages. Businesses wishing to be featured in our Business Hub should apply through the official listing process. One-off mentions of relevant resources are acceptable.

Protect Privacy

Do not share other people's personal details, documents, or private information without their explicit consent. Do not post content that could identify someone's immigration status without their permission.

Stay On Topic

Keep discussions relevant to immigration, settlement, community life, and related experiences. Off-topic content or excessive political commentary unrelated to immigration may be removed to keep the community focused and useful.

Report Concerns

If you see content that violates these guidelines, use the in-app report feature. Our moderation team reviews all reports and will take appropriate action. Do not engage or retaliate — report and move on.

Enforcement

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines without notice. Repeated violations or severe single incidents may result in account suspension or permanent banning. We aim to be fair and consistent in enforcement.
